Arguable Claims

Arguable ClaimsIt is probably a truth universally acknowledged that without all the arguable claims and quarrels that go on in society today, we would not be having this or that! In fact, a lot of individuals have invested so much time and money in attending a debate, they might have even forgotten to take a breather and have a good night's sleep! The consequence of this is an unhappy, angry and resentful nation, full of bitter arguments about trivial matters.Without them, the world would be a better place, without them, everyone would be able to relax and enjoy life as it truly is. However, there are so many opinions out there, that at times, it is sometimes hard to tell who is telling the truth and who's lies.Whether or not you think it is a considerable amount of strain to be placed on the psyche of a society, I for one, don't mind. In fact, it has been proven that by allocating time for ourselves, we can all become a lot more relaxed, take a step back and enjoy life to the fulles t, if we let our minds and hearts are in the right frame of mind. Many individuals, when they are asked whether or not they think their own point of view is true, will answer that in numerous times, yes. A matter of fact, many people have an 'I told you so' attitude that isn't confined to one particular topic.Arguments are never ending, but that doesn't mean they should be ignored. There are many arguments that can be brought up, but no matter how valid they may seem, they cannot be regarded as the 'truth'.In order to truly understand these arguable claims, one needs to establish what exactly is meant by truth? Some individuals believe that truth is a relative term, while others believe that one is completely certain about the truth. In fact, there is no consensus on the topic of truth. There are some people who say that truth is that which can be validated by the majority, while there are others who believe that it is the same truth for everyone. In any case, it has been proven that the majority is most apt to accept facts, as they are easier to accept. It is also not the case that, the longer people try to defend the arguable claims, the more valid they become. On the contrary, the more they attempt to defend the arguable claims, the more they get into a cycle of fighting about each and every arguable claim that arise. The only way to finally and successfully solve such disputes is to admit that there are a lot of false and illogical claims out there, but that there are just as many valid ones.
